Physical properties of quartz window pieces

1. High-temperature resistance. The softening point temperature of quartz glass is about 1730℃, which can be used at 1100℃ for a long time and 1450℃ for a short time.

2, corrosion resistance, quartz glass has almost no chemical reaction with other acid substances, its acid resistance is 30 times ceramic, and 150 times stainless steel, especially at high-temperature chemical stability, is unmatched by any other engineering material.

3, good thermal stability. Adapt to the glass thermal expansion coefficient is very small, and can withstand drastic temperature changes, quartz glass heating to about 1100℃, put in room temperature water will not burst.

4, good light transmission performance. Quartz glass has good transmittance in the whole spectrum band from ultraviolet to infrared. Visible light transmittance is more than 93%, especially in the ultraviolet spectrum, the transmittance can reach more than 80.

5, quartz glass has good electrical insulation performance. Quartz glass resistance value equivalent to ordinary glass 100 times, is an excellent electrical insulation material, even at room temperature also has good electrical properties.
