In optical communication equipment, 1.3u and 1.5u optical isolators need to be extensively used, whose core components are YIG or BIG films placed in magnetic fields. GGG single crystal substrate with different tangential directions can achieve the best match with the lattice of this kind of magneto-optical material, so as to ensure the successful epitaxial growth of YIG and BIG films.
